I'm partial to the hour long HIIT training with equal amounts of high intensity cardio and targeted equal amounts of high intensity cardio and targeted floor exercises. The best fitness facility ever! The staff is very accommodating to those of us with back, knee, shoulder injuries and more. So far I have attended Barre classes with Rebecca. It was awesome and looking forward to seeing the results without heavy lifting! Krystal's deep stretch class, I can't even begin to tell you! She focuses on each individual in the class and knows when to push you further or adjust your movements due to injuries or pain. When I left, my back was pain free! Each time, I have left feeling great and ready for more! Staff wants to know their members and you can tell! The best part, 40+ will feel very comfortable here! Bruce knew our community needed this!

My goal in entering the TakeDown Challenge was to lose the 10-15 pounds I put on over the last 2 years after returning to work. I had stopped exercising and was eating a lot of prepared food. I followed the program to the letter. No alcohol, I drank diet tonic with lime and diet cranberry juice in my wine glass. I journaled, drank lots of water, and held to every 4 hours and not even 1 grape rule...to the point I threw out the grapes. I started running and walking 5 miles for my cardio and at the end I was running most of it and walking a little. My supposedly arthritic knees feel better than ever, I can easily squat and recover and my energy level is fantastic. I also sleep better now. I don't want to buy processed food and I enjoy all the great new meals I can prepare easily. I take away an important quote from Rebecca in my Barre class, "I thank you and more importantly your body thanks you for what you have given it this last hour. Please don't go home and give it all back tonight or this weekend." Don't we owe ourselves and our body better than what we often give them? It isn't hard and if you just follow the plan it will work for you for life.

I joined Abnormal Fitness a year ago and have been very impresses with the facility, the trainers, and the results I have experienced in my first year. My goal was two-fold; to lose weight and to develop lean muscle mass. In my first four to five months, I was able to quickly shed 25-30 lbs. and have done a good job keeping it off. Everyone (including all the other members) is welcoming and very supportive. It really comes down to the individual and the goals you have for yourself. The facilities and the people at Abnormal Fitness will help you achieve results. Abnormal Fitness offers a variety of cardio and weight classes along with private trainings, Barre and Yoga to meet your individual needs.

I started working out with Bruce about 5 years ago with semi-private sessions. When he opened the Abnormal Fitness Club I did not hesitate to follow him. I am probably one of his older clients, but that does not bother me at all. I know how important it is to keep your body moving and your mind challenged. Working out with Bruce and his amazing staff helps me accomplish both of these goals. Thank you Bruce for All you do for me.
